The statue illustrated left by the 25 yr old Michelangelo is an example of classical male sculpture. Note that for updated Bodybuilding info you should select one of the site links in the text below.

Pictures here were set at 100%, but are now edited to save web space. I have also taken a liberty I guess by making comments on them. This could be a little unfair, since I do not know exactly where they were in their training regimes. By this I mean you "bulk up", then "cut" to reveal the structure you have worked so hard to develop. My main alternative site has further Galleries. They contained real life class style poses of real guys, similar to the one of "David" shown left as sculpted by Michelangelo, but all are now edited. Though the images were selected, the site content was objected to. Some of the original pics are now posted elsewhere. Adult Membership is required to access this.

This set of pages is NOT being updated very often.

I do not consider the human body in any way obscene, unless the images are overtly "sexual" in type. The sites linked from this page reflected that opinion. When you are bodybuilding or improving your body tone, the legs are included naturally. Many teen bodybuilder pics concentrate on the arms and torso, which is wrong. I guess the fear is to show off the crotch region and to be afraid of the viewer taking a wrong impression. After all, that's where the natural factors contributing towards your body type come from! I also suspect a few steroid users may be shy of showing that area too!

"Jeremy" competing at 14.

Black and white Artistic pose by Adam Rickitt.

The odd tan effect above was for the show!

Denis, even in this relaxed pose shows Quads with visible cuts and a good overall balance. Jason (left) is bigger, but just a little less well cut, at least in this shot.

Earlier shot of Sergei Litvinov

Competition Posing. See the main site for all 7.

The posed pictures are designed to show off particular sets of muscles. We all do the "double bicep" when asked to show a muscle!

Jeremy is posing to show arms, chest and legs, but not his abdominal area.

Sergei Litvinov in both shots has almost all muscle groups flexed to show his physique. In the case of the legs, the left shows the front, the right the rear muscle groups, though from this angle the latter are not visible.

There are a lot of pics of Sergei and others on the Omsk and Sportachievements pages.

Corey (below) is in "cut" condition. That means competition ready or very close to it.Pectoral segments can be seen. as can the serratus group. His abs are also clearly defined.

Corey (above) in great form!

Sergei (right) holds a pose designed to show off his cut musculature. He has a great Lat spread here and the serratus anterior muscles tie in very nicely. Note also the serrations visible in the tensed left leg Quads.

He clearly shows a whole body approach here, with no neglect of the legs. Calves also show well. They tend to be the hardest to train in some cases if the muscle sheath is too tight or inflexible You get a lot of pain, but no gain.

Sometimes, however things are not what they seem!

Beware the phoney!

The photo to the left is supposed to be of a guy aged 14 having trained for 4 years. The photo above has the same face as you see. The face is "Johan Paulik" who was 18 at the time of his first photo shoot (above). Clearly someone has been faking! The guy above is All Johan! The other may be all him too, but NOT at 14!
